The incessant "chat" that comes in about UKIP vs. "other parties", spells out the very reason why the UKIP should not be a party.

The amount of sympathy for the cause is out weighed by the fact MP's and voters have to judge on more than one issue, if someone has voted for X for a number of years, for what ever reason, it will take more than one issue (regardless of how important that issue is) for them to change horses.

In order to get them to change, you need to get side tracked on to numerous other issues, which take "the eye off the ball".

The other thing that needs to learnt, is "my enemies enemy is my best friend", if you are fighting someone who has little regard for human life, you had better get someone on your side who has even less, Churchill knew that when he enlisted Stalin against Hitler.

Make no mistake about YOUR enemy, human life does not come in to the equation, it is about power and profit, THEIR power and profit, yours can only come by the way of carrots (bribes). I don't know about you lot, but I came off the bottle years ago (even if I do get side-tracked by the nipple, I don't live by it), and I am damned if I am going to accept the bottle again from a load of failed politicians telling me WHO I am, and what I should do.

Even if it means losing some of your personal ambitions and ego, you had ALL better start acting like a team, and remember that a Tory (or Labour etc) inside their party, and not afraid of the party whips, can make a BIG impression on the public by declaring their views. They EXPECT UKIP to say it, a Tory etc makes the news.

The sooner you get together as an "Association of Independent for Great Britain", and become a REAL pressure group the better, it's winning that counts, not the war, or battle.

What connections do you have with skeptics on the other side of the "ditch"?

It would appear, from the responses to my earlier posting, that we will be in the EU for a long time.

The sustained attack on the party, whose leadership is at least, "half way", and ignoring the parties whose leadership is totally "for", adds up to depressing news. Such actions are likely to weaken the "half" party to the benefit of the "for" party. Is it not likely to be of greater benefit, to encourage the internal pressure of ALL parties?

The fact that the response has totally ignored the point, that shooting Tory/Lab/Lib/Dem's/etc because they are Tory/Lab/Lib/Dem's/etc is following the path defined by the Crusaders in the 12th century, who killed more Christians than Infidels just because they wore funny hats.

And before anyone starts, I am totally against ALL parties, as it was that stupid system that got us in the mess in the first place.

Rules of the game
1:- Identify your enemy
2:- Do not fight on their ground.
3:- Enlist help from ALL sources. (my enemies enemy is my best friend)
4:- Co-ordinate attack procedure
5:- Concentrate the effort for the main attack. (don't get side-tracked)
6:- Infiltration is better than intimidation.
7:- Identify the PROBLEM, not the symptom.

Electoral Reform

Electoral Reform will not cure the problems that we suffer from. What we need is a radical shift in public thinking, to shift us from  the endless to and fro of politic parties that leaves the tax-payer  footing the bill.

All the options listed are treating the symptoms, and symptoms are like boils, they pop up somewhere else unless the PROBLEM  is corrected. Party Politics IS the problem, it is not a symptom, and it will not go away on it's own.

There is not enough money for the Health Service, Education or 101 other things.

Yet there is enough to spend :-

  1. OVER £30 Million is being spent on preparing for the Euro (which no one wants).
  2. Brown was prepared to lose Millions by depressing the price of gold and then selling a great trench of our National asset just to buy Euros to try and prop up the foreign currency!
  3. Tony Blair has spent £130,000 and employs two people to run his Web Site.
  4. Jack Straw spent an estimated £70 Million making a fool of himself over Pinochet.
  5. Mandelson fiddled a mortgage and clandestinely borrowed £370,000 for personal purchases, and then they promoted him.
  6. £70+M on a upturned WOK that nobody has a use for (and then they employ the wrong man to run it, well his name sounds  the same).
  7. Business's have millions trying to conform with metrication regulations that have been found to be illegal.
  8. On top of all that it cost £1.2m per hour, yes that's right PER HOUR, to be in the EU.
  9. About £200m have been spent on rebuilding EACH of the offices of MI5 & MI6 (about 5 times the budget)
  10. The current estimate for the building the HOUSE of SCOTLAND is running amok (again about 5 times the budget)

And they are closing hospitals yet we have not got enough beds????

When will we get a referendum on the EU? we had one on the Common Market, and that was joke, what the hell has a "market" got to do with the EU:- LAW, ARMY, POLICE, MONEY, POLITICS, etc????

The "reform" of the House of Lords was only to clear the way for more moves from EU which would not pass because they are illegal under the British constitution (the reform itself has dubious legality as it was laid down that the upper house should be independent of the influence of the elected body).

If you are not fed up with being lied to and conned, I am.

IF the population voted ONLY for Independents, we could blow the stupid "party" system out of the water and get some serious government.
