RELIGION The question that I cannot find an answer too, is, Why does God have two sets of rules? 1:- The Bible (any "bible"). 2:- The Laws of Nature. Bibles were written by man, for man, excluding all other life forms with only passing reference to women, even less to nature (I think it was because "Mother" Nature was so important and they had to get even). It is a collection of stories used for manipulation of man, by man for the purpose of control of the masses, this was achieved through keeping the peasants ignorant. It's idealism is unsustainable in the form that is presented. It's has caused more wars/conflicts than any other reason, yet is the major factor in over-population. To be born is to die, if we do not the consequences are dire. The Ten Commandments have no place in Nature, species or individuals will show acceptance, tolerance, or animosity to another species/individual, it is "survival of the fittest", yet it is a concept that has a better survival prospect than Religion. Nature is as it was, and how it will be. Ever changing, but always following the guide-lines of control which govern the behavior of all things (living and inert, which includes humans), the fact that humans are starting to understand minute sectors completely ignores the fact they do not understand the whole system, yet they have the means to cause wholesale disruption by their "improvements", yet how do you improve a system that has functioned for millions of years?, their "improvements" rarely survive for more than half a century without serious problems. It is also interesting to note that religion makes little, if any, reference to the major factor of God's creation, yet with out it we could not exist. Is it to late to add the 11th commandment "Thou shall not ruin the environment"?, (that is the polite version). Humans will have to learn how to live with Nature, not fight it. It is one of the reason why the Eskimo's survived in the Artic, and the Arabs survived in the desert, both very hostile environments, It is also one of the reasons why the West fails to understand the Eastern mentality (or any native society), an Arab, Chinaman, Viet etc. do not have the same attitude to human life, because they are easily replaced, if not why is the population heading for six billion people (an extra 1 billion every 11 years)? Is religion, the "lemming" factor for humans?.
